so hard to count; impression of more than actual nos.
18 September 1965. 0900, are near O.I on Prisham's road. /1035,
00w + in turn to E. of mi. 1.63 - same place as yesterday eve! /
Mi. 1.25, one above Mt. Malabamia flower.
19 September 1965. In tree "C" near Prishams Rd., 14/1530, 3.
One ground another. all at lower level than 11 Colobus sleeps
in same tree.
20 September 1965. About 1020, mi. 1.0 to E; 2 in low trees.
21 September 1965. In forest adj. to highway across from Kagera
saw a few near Col. slpssinceur. One old gr. another old. /1830,
Mabalania
mr. mi. 1.3w; one in same tree w. one C. nictis; same combination
in another two. Eating some food, in part. / 1745, see notes C. nictis . 10t
relatable to W. & mi. w 1.68, are on 2 previous secs, but are Col.
Ladvis & 10+ C. nictis in group! The mites well mixed in order.
One retail gr. another. No species interstion seen. / 0830, K-6, 2.
26 September 1965. Two w. 4 C. nictis at mi., .9w. (see
mites), One 1040 at 1.4w. Comment of monkeys in this
area s. of Kagera Laimill. /1725, 1.68w., 5(one half grown,
4+ Colobusabyss., 1 C. ladvis, 1 C. nictis, settled in trees.
27 September (965, 0810, over same tree (Celtis?) with 6 C.
Ladvis.
28<September 1965, Morning. 1.15w; 3 in single Mabalania
tree eating flower's; 3 C. ladvis in area. / 1730, 3 out sw,
1.08w, where 6+ C. nictis. One relt. ate coffee fruits. They
made soft grunts while feeding.
