propatian evergreen. Many ferns in open, three high, and many light green new leaves ends branches evergreen trees.
Doch (Rumus) seems common in open; Furuya said monkeys eat all parts at Iogiyusan. He thought height & density veg. similar to Iogyusan, but more evergreens here. He thought he recognized "kaze" and some other species. Weather good vivid able for lighthouse, atop exposed ridge. Back to Koshima.
When fed sweet potato, many take and dip in puddles or edge sea before eating, or eat off brown layer & then swish vigorously in water from tree to tree; some- times also brushing food with hands. Partly for salt flavor? A mother with infant immediately walked directly & alone 50 m. to rock at edge water & washed potato in tidal wash at base of rocks (photod). See'd ate one potato while holding another in feet. / Malt stage earlier than Would at Takogo 5, apparently. Does understanding influence local factors on malt give due to infl. or mating season? Malt also in ? + minors, so more easily obs.
