super yrk. being gowned (prob. cousin rather than sib.). This gp.
son look 2-?, 2 yr., 1 inf. - so mother red inf. may have yearling. I sp.
them: ? w. yrd. + 2 yr.; ? w. 2-3yr. old min. (>5); 2f, 2yrlngs, +
red inf. (>5), + single ad., + 50' from there a f. grv. yrk. There are
well separated gps, & no others near them. At least 6 ad.?, 2 inf, 4 yrd,
2 2-3yr. mins. | ? w. black inf. walked 100' from other & sat. Inf walk-
ed to 1 ft. from her - she ate small green leaves from 40cm shrub, pulling
stems (branches) toward her. She gray, brownish sides, red-faced, possible light area
over h. eye, cream dorsal (?) Hair thin or from scrape, middorsal
posteri. thorax (Toseda says white-nored). Inf. pecked up object & put
to mouth. She gave once "questioning location call", 1 sec., ~. There
only sounds heard from monkeys in 4 hrs! Inf. prob. born about April
20 or before, judged by activity (as on Apr. 1-9, 1 Apr. 10-19). 11:10, she gr.
inf. while laying down vs. legs spread. She sat. 8 yrs., not large nold. | Big
? sat by log 20' from another ?, scratched his side w. knucklefoot, slowly walked
S.E. Calm, sultry, bright; also seen & series. | A den stood within
3 meters growing monkeys; no apparent nest trees. | By 11:35 gp. had
moved slowly off. Two came upslope to 50 m. from me. One fed,
pulling bush tips toward (40 cm. tree); 1 cm green leaves. Sap very
loose it seems. When all but close out of sight, I cautiously descended
cellar trail on top of E. Ridge. Prob. slightly alarmed awhile; they walked
up slope & crossed ridge, and passing on 10' boulder on way, & walk-
ed downslope to S. About 12, incl. at least 6 1-4 yrs. & no obvious infants.
I waited. About 100 m. behind other came 2 mins. (about 2 yrs.)
in fact walks, or a log, to crest & down to S. (At least 8 1-4 yrs.)
No more came in 5 min. Toseda had gone down trail to S. atop
