Mr. Takao said fed about 30 liters wheat a day, + 40 kg sweet potatoe.
(I est. 10 ttt lbs. for 250, which is bt). If weather fine much, give no food; none on Sundays. Takao said no regular winter sta. on island.
Takao said some ? had 2 deformed babies, lacking hand & foot; another one lacked little finger. Teratium. | of 47 born last yr, 42 surviving,
said Takao. Y. says counts sent to JMC regularly. Small gp. wait at distance while large feeds, T. said. | At ft. of "rape way" of Kankake,
we saw another group, but no regular program feeding or study. Station mgr. fed for people. He thought about 150, + about 15
inf's. When food put out, I saw about 80, incl. 8 inf's. Large + in good condition. Apparently birth season similar to better fed gp. | Makay had been in "park" upslope, but ran out of money, so unmanaged made now by feminine station. No molt apparent in most; a few & 4 still molting.
Occrs. 2-3 yr. 07 has pink sex skin above neck. Adulterine Occrs. 2 & box "vulnerable" red sex skin, w. ggs, from clavicle to clavicle "----". Neither seen on C. S. makay. | I saw 2-3 & 4/10 inf's. | Another unfed gp.

Gagusan, nr. Takahashi
Slope about 200 yds. above RR tracks, 500' above level river. Flat area for makayup, food, 2-3 rock walls w. various traces for makay feeding, + shaded benches for people. Clean & orderly, with interested energetic lenser.
About 180 said to be in gp., + another unfed group in forest upslope. A third gp. had been removed, almost entirely, to Shibu nr. Taley's. Makays large, pelage good, + many teeth same + bothersome. Molt in progress; marring. then C. S. cheeks. Some on ant. medial crown only. 07/molted crowns, forearms, mid. back; 072 similar. But we said to be sub.
