Koford Saliceta - Genl August 22, 1956 A B.C./s/and, C.Z. Another large Bufo m. worked at kitchen; FR 1/1 in eve. September 8, 1956 Bufo typhonius remains commonest food or frog seen along trails. Nearly always see one in half hour walk, with general observation, not looking for toads. November 3, 1956. Saw one of the 1 ½ " long black frogs with green a turquoise spots on buttress of Big Tree on Van Tyne trail. Have also seen under Test Table/ Bldg. & near creek bed of Lutz stream near foot. January 5, 1957. Saw one ¼" long on F-2 loop A/V trail near 8. 4 March 1957 a moderately large Bufo working on dock of boathouse at 7 p.m. On trails frogs & toads rare.
