B. typhonius - very common along trails or ground. Calling during light rain p.m. Aug. 22 nr. Alley Creek, larger than in Pacific drainage C.Z. Engystomops pustulosus - 1 or 2 heard calling Old Lab. One seen Barbour 3 daytime Aug. 22 Leptodactylus pentadactylus - several heard calling night near Old Lab, nr Wheeler 9, mr. Ermaun B. Cretlherodactylus lumforiformis - only frog seen along Alley Creek bed (rocky) near Old Lab. Red eyeshine. C. diastema - heard common night calling from tall small tree. Whistle similar to Centrolene fleshmani, but higher pitch. Phylllobates flastor - common along TB trail daytime. Nyala albomarginata - good chorus night along stream near armour 8-9, in "Pita" thicket. Green with red web between toes, H. phaeota - seen calling near dock night. H. phleboedez (prob. not underwoodi) - believe 1 or 2 heard near Old Lab - night. Centrolene fleshmani - most common call, at least near Old Lab, night. Call similar to E. diastema. Egg mass found on adjacent leaf. Isolated mass containing wriggling developing embryos larvae. Bufo marinus - C-V 148mm. - removed RF toe 11/16. Taken 8 p.m. boat landing. Released at Old Lab 8:15 p.m.
