14 February 1957 Barro Colorado Is., Canal Zone
leave nest. 8:27 1/2, ? to edge nest four times. 8:29, ? to
edge nest momentarily. 8:40, becoming cloudy. Occasional
rain. No further activity at nest by 11 a.m.
15 February 1957 Arthur Fast observed nest 6:35 to
7:05 a.m.; then 7:40 on, but no birds to nest. At 9:18
a.m. two apparent Quercus perched in tall tree near nest
for 10 seconds. No activity at nest by 10:30 a.m.
June 1957 Dr. S. Hughes-Schroederthaler nest in Cespia (?)
near to Fuent's House has nest of this species. She saw fruit
so crow eat cicadas.
