December 22, 1956 Barro Colorado Island, Canal Zone
In evening one apparently chasing another (intuding or?) from
Two 100 + 50 yds. East of Chapman House. Call a loud
"queech" at rate 3 / second. Louder and hoarser when flying.
January 6, 1957. Near TZ 7, Sue Koford saw 3 flying. The head calls.
16 January 1957. Mr. Deusing saw 2 fly across clearing near kitchen.
23 January 1957. I saw 2 fly across clearing NW to SE and land in trees near boat landing.
29 January 1957 Two flew N. across clearing near boat docks about 6:15 p.m.
7 February 1957 Headt saw one 200 yds. NW of 1952 Lab 4 p.m.
16 February 1957 about 6 p.m. two flew across clearing below Fireman's House, N. to S., landing in tall almocrobos on point, one about a minute after the other.
