CKoford 3 Chiroptera 2 December 1956 Chilibre, Panama. of 100t Carollia and 30+ Phyllostomus on ceiling. Took a Sorcopteryx near an entrance. Limited only one large room + passage to it; doubt less many more passages present. / Visited Mrs. Barnett 3 mi. SE of Jambos & saw 20+ Sorcopteryx on screens under eaves. Took 3, all ??. 4 December 1956. Took one in net, banded, & released. Prob. Underma (yellow ears) but perhaps Vampyrops (upper middle incision very long). 5 December 1956. Had 3 nets out, 2 in pool shop. Took an Attila eve wotoni about 7 p.m., 2 ant, lit. polmanum about 9:30 in same (Luty Trail). Antil. lit. mr. Chapman House 8 p.m. Mr. (? Noctilio labialis minor) pump house a Dicer at 7:50 p.m., a Chirodema at 10 p.m. (specimens). 23 December 1956. Went to Luty Boxes at Orchid Island. Only 5 left, there an Orchid. at least 2 gave from there all from De Lesseps. Bats in same are as before - big eared type with bold cream. I took all 4. These were clustered together at one point on ceiling. 27 December 1956 Frijoles, Canal Zone Entered attic of wooden train station covered by corrugated iron A roof. Saw about 5 Molossus (ceilonis?) ranging low near corners, & heard Molossus in roof. Several dead M. and about 20 dead (old, mummies) leg en molossids on floor of attic. Saved skulls for identification. Droppings appear to be old. 3 January 1957 An old mist net placed across SM mr. 1 and took clearing took 2 Antemus lituratus, 7 atilurus
