1. Crele 1959 Microtus minutus 31 May Peters-Schroeder & freshly Killed found being in wellaway by shrubs on west side opposite lake. By areas on slopes and fans where ground is exposed there is very little evidence of fresh wolf activity. Dawelev this hard rocky ground does not shed more signs. Dobrly has observed no microtus activity either. 2 June Peters-Schroeder L - one seen running among some rocks on an ellewed fan in Whistler Creek and an old pile of willow leaves was found. June Peters-Schroeder L - [illegible] found being up by shrubs on W. side of Peters. Peters-Schroeder L - on Carnivore Creek - one seen to run into a hole under a rock. June Peters-Schroeder L - one seen running along a bank in floodplain of Carnivore. 5 June Peters-Schroeder L - appears to be the commont microtus present in the area- numbers seem substantial but not as high as on the Okjilak last year in late summer.
