Code 1958 Logopus logopus 9 July - cont. The same afternoon Don Cromley saw a brood of 3 flying young with 2 97 and a 60 in brushy area near the airstrip, 14 July Uniat - a single adult mole was flushed along the road to Old Uniat between the airstrip and the crossing of Ceebee Creek. 2-25 July Colville River - more seen between Colonmagovik and Uniat. 2 August [illegible] Franklin Bluff - Sogavaneviktok Rovanda reports that he has seen up of stannigan at their locality during his stay of several weeks. 3 August Okfjolk River - While the wolfewine was running up the alluvial fan at Contact Creek, it flushed a ptarmigan which appeared at the distance to be logopus. Several myties had just been seen close up, and this bird appeared larger and with more white showing on the lower half of body, 7 August Okfjolk River On contact creek at the point where it cuts into the angle of the valley, three ptarmigan birds were seen in the shade of a dozen over pines.
