Falcovesticulus
26 May cont.
I picked up 120 odd pellets
around the clevie. Most of these
are from last year's feeding.
Micro tines appear to occur frequently.
While I was at the cliff, a
wreath-legged thrush and a
newish Parnin flew over, but
neither was attacked by the
falcon.
The tiwrel is definitely the
more bold and aggressive bird
at this clevie.
The falcon did not leave the
eags this time until I was
actually down on the rope and
looking into the ledge. But once
away, she stayed farther away
than did the tiwrel.
Fresh wing of L. mutus and
old wing of C. [illegible] found at
a plucking station near the clevie.
Jul-Aug. Colrille R.- for data on pairs see from
Etigluk to point before Uniat. See
section headed "Colrille Raptor Caves".
