Unicat, Alaska - one was seen
soaring over the review in the
general area of the coal seam
or the opposite side from Unicat.
25 July
Cohille River - ca 20 mi. above Unicat - a
the small cliff on the left limit where
the pair of Slevgiviers was seen attacking
the goose, a large stick nest was found
on an outcrop of sandstone. The nest
was attainable from below without
a rope. It was at least 1 year - possibly
two years old. Inside the nest there
was a lot of cavil you saw and frag-
ments of shing, which suggests that the
nest had been occupied by eagles.
No eagles were seen on the review between
Oolamagquik and Unicat - perhaps
relatable to the scarcity of ground squirrels
and ptarmigan.

Okpilak Lake - one seen soaring over
the high bluffs on the right limit of the
view about 2 mi. above camp.

Okpilak River - scattered remains of
eagles - possibly two - eagles found in
the flood plain near mouth of Contact
Creek. Several wolf scats found in
the area all contained caribou hair -
but the scattering of the remains suggests that
