T. Cade Canis lupus miles for about 1 hour. When finally shot, he was still running strong. When examined this animal's posterior was covered with serine and excrete, apparently avoided dewing the view. This occurred near Fish Creek, and the wolf ran south toward the hills. The wolves will usually keep running straight ahead of the plane, as long as it stays in a position helping him. But if the plane overtakes and passes them, then it will no longer run a straight course, after that it begins zig-zagging, stopping few feet and then moving away as the plane approaches, suddenly doubling back, etc. In the yearling sample of 14 animals the sex ratio was 2 & 1 to male. Colville River - wolf tracks were seen at every station between Oolumagu- wide and Uniat - some quite fresh. 25 July
