Thylacoleo stigmaticus
The northern "race" (?) coxeni is not uncommon in
the scrub growing on the iron-stone ridge (200 ft) above
Lookout. One was picked up dead on the road,
close to the R.I.P. creek. Another was shot in the
scrub at Narre Point camp.
Both at Porters Roads and Jam Rigg specimens
were collected. A single one at Mt Tozer in the
scrubs of the west Clondie River.
Also at Mt Dimmigan scrub, 1100 ft.
