Dingo. [illegible] Dick Holland killed a large male dingo, accompanied by a yellow female, which had attacked his dog. He said it was dark at the back. I saw two yellow dingos, one 10 miles nw of Toms ville, the other between Hubeith and Chillipo. Occasional tracks at Jim Rags, many near at Hot Tozer and Brown's Creek. One was seen crossing the Dypig Strip at I.R. Trapping with 8-trap sets captured native cats but not dingoes. Van trapped a fine female dingo on wallaby at Walock also saved skulls of 2 poisoned specimens. I saw Two at Arta Run. One seen from train, Laura-Carina, about 28 miles out of C.
